Q&A before ordering Hot Strands™ Extensions
Q 1. Which should I
choose: straight or wavy?
A 1. Aside from
the original wave, both straight and wavy can be style with
hot rollers or a flat iron to achieve the same look. Our wavy
style blends better with thick, wavy, blunt cut or more
textured hair, and both may be worn curled or
straight.
Q 2. What if
my hair is one solid color and I want to use reversible Hot
Strand extensions to add highlights or lowlights, plus more
length to my hair. How do I make it blend?
A 2. For a great blend, before
ordering see color combinations in color gallery.
Q 3. What if the 4" wide extension piece
doesn't fit the section of my head where I want to apply
it?
A 3. Cut to fit desired section (see
instructions before doing so).
Q 4. What if I want to wear Hot Strands
for just a few days, instead of several weeks?

4. You can remove Hot Strands at anytime. They are
completely reusable with our re-application kit.
Q 5. It there any latex in the
adhesive?
A 5. No. The tape is
latex-free.
Q 6. What
removes Hot Strands Extensions?
A 6. Our
Hot Strands remover, which is an all natural, organic citrus
remover.
Q 7. How is the
hair attached?
A 7. A patent-pending tape
method that is medical-grade quality.
Q 8. Will the remover hurt my
scalp?
A 8. The remover contains
all-natural, organic wetting agents, but it should not be used
on broken or irritated skin.
Q 9. How long will Hot Strands Extensions last?
A
9. Everyone is different, but if you follow the
instructions Hot Strands extensions last up to 8 weeks.
Q 10. Are Hot Strands
difficult to apply?
A 10. It's very
helpful to have a friend assist you, and yes Hot Strands are
easy to apply.
Q 11. My
hair is fairly thick. Will it blend with Hot Strands?
A 11. If you have medium to thick hair,
two kits may be required. See instructions for blending 2 kits
together.
Q 12. What if I
have several colors in my hair; what color do I
choose?
A 12. Try a reversible color, that
will give you two colors in one or try two different color
kits to create your own custom color. (see color
gallery) You may also order a color ring for an exact
blend, which will be deducted from the price of your Hot
Strands order.
Q 13. Do I
have to wear Hot Strands Extensions 20" long?
A
13. No you can cut Hot Strands Extensions to any
length you desire.
Q 14. What if I already have long hair?
A
14. You can use Hot Strands to get highlights or
lowlights, for a thicker look, for color enhancement, or for
multi-color blend with two or more kits.
